Simple Legal

Simple Legal is a leader in the legal operations space. They are one of the best SAAS companies in the space are rapidly taking ground. For their website, it was imperative for them that they present themselves in a way that established their brand as a technological leader but also enable their marketing team to leverage their website as a Search Engine Optimization machine. This site was built on top of the open-source Wordpress platform. No frameworks, no pre-made themes or bulky plugins, just a custom Wordpress theme that integrates with Hubspot for all of their marketing activities and an API integration with Greenhouse to help their Talent Acquisition team utilize the website for finding and attracting top talent.

My working relationship with Simple Legal did not stop after the initial build. I have been a part of several projects post-launch to add functionality to the website. My favorite portion of work from this project is definitely the Savings Calculator that I built out for them in 2019. Simple Legal approached our team with a spreadsheet that they have been using for the last few years to help potential clients understand the value that Simple Legal could add to their organization. While I dug into the spreadsheet and all of chaos that is Microsoft Excel, the design team at Peaktwo put together a beautiful user interface that captured all of the neccesary data for filling out the spreadsheet. I worked with the design team to provide direction for what elements needed to be captured in the calculator as well as gave insight into what our technical limitations were, given that we were building this on a budget within a pre-exisiting website. The end result was pretty awesome! We even got nominated for some CSS awards at the end of it all.
